Data we collect

Whatever you share with us — by email, through our contact form, or when you call — is stored in our CRM, Folk (opens in a new tab), so we have it at hand when we speak next.

The contact form asks for your name, email, company, line of work, which service you are asking about, and your message. Before it sends, you tick a box to confirm you are happy for us to store that and get back to you. A copy also reaches us by email, sent through Resend (opens in a new tab).

The contact form also checks IP addresses to stop bots from flooding us, but they are never stored.

Cookies

We hate cookie banners with a passion, so we engineered this site to not need them! It sets no cookies of its own. The two embeds that would set one (Calendly (opens in a new tab) on the contact page and Bandcamp (opens in a new tab) on What is Forward Momentum) do so only when you deliberately click them.

Analytics

We use Plausible, which is cookieless and does not track visitors across sites or devices. They are based in the EU and visitor data stays there. Their data policy (opens in a new tab) lists everything they collect; their privacy policy (opens in a new tab) covers the rest.

Error reporting

Your browser is asked to report certain technical failures (content blocked by our security policy, network errors, connection problems) to URIports (opens in a new tab), a monitoring service. Those reports carry the page URL, your browser's user agent, and the address the report is sent from. We use them to find breakage and attempted attacks.

Scheduling

If you book a call through the scheduling tool on our contact page, Calendly's privacy notice (opens in a new tab) governs that step. The booking then creates an entry in our Google Workspace (opens in a new tab) calendar and a meeting link in Zoom (opens in a new tab).

Working relationships

During active engagements, additional data may be collected and managed through Google Workspace (opens in a new tab), Slack (opens in a new tab), Folk (opens in a new tab), QuickBooks (opens in a new tab), and Zoom (opens in a new tab).
